Outside Sales – Control Valves

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Griffin Groupe is seeking an excellent sales professional to join our client company’s team.

The Outside Sales person would be working for our client company. She/he will have the responsibility of:
  • contributing in defining and implementing the strategy for products in the territory assigned,
  • developing the business for products, identifying prospects, activating new customers
  • meeting and exceeding the sales targets,
  • supporting customers, by being a liaison between the customers and the colleagues in the USA and in Europe (Denmark and Poland),
  • participating in conference and trade shows,
  • providing reports and updates to management.

Customers include: distributors, OEMs, shipyards, fabricators/packagers/system integrators.
Travel time is expected to be 40%.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • The candidate is required to have 5+ years of outside sales experience for control valves or similar industrial products
  • The candidate is expected to be a good team player and to have an attitude to learn.
  • The candidate must have good communication skills.
  • Experience in the marine industry is a plus.
  • Experience with OEMs or fabricators/packagers/system integrators is a plus.
  • The candidate will be expected to use (or to learn) PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and our CRM (MS Dynamics 365).
