THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in mobile software testing
- Knowledge of automation testing and JIRA
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Mobile Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst works in support of the iOS, android or web development team. He/she is responsible for ensuring our client’s mobile App’s quality through continuous involvement in the iOS, Android or web development process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test and report defects for iOS and Android applications
- Provide test effort estimates and timely validation of new features and functionality during each development iteration
- Identify target test items to be evaluated for mobile apps
- Collaborate with developers and customer support to identify, document and resolve product defects
- Provide daily status reporting for testing to development leads
- Ability to troubleshoot issues experienced during testing
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to refine and improve the company's test methodologies, application development processes, and internal testing tools
- Help create and maintain documentation and company wiki
- Help develop test cases for off-site teams (ex: test rail)
- Follow best practices set by the quality assurance lead
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience
- Knowledge of automation testing an asset ((Espresso, XCTest UI, Selenium)
- 2-5 years of expertise in testing mobile software – iOS & Android
- Experience with JIRA or any defects reporting too
- Experience in an B2C industry
- Good knowledge of Web technologies

- Excellent communication skills in English and French (asset)
- Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Can focus on deliverables and meet scheduled deadlines
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and business functions quickly
