Hall of Fame Staffing in partnership with The Griffin Groupe is searching for an experienced Executive Director for the 100 Black Men of Omaha. The mission of the 100 Black Men of Omaha (100BMO) is to improve the quality of life in Omaha by helping the youth reach their fullest potential.  This has been the organization’s mission since 1995 when a group of concerned men realized that the survival of the community rested on their willingness to join together and be a vehicle for positive change. Today the 100BMO, is one of over 100 chapters internationally that make up the 100 Black Men of America, Inc., an alliance of leading African-American men of business, industry, public affairs and government.

  • Degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Human Services or equivalent
  • A passion for marketing and promotion
  • Experience with community organizing
  • Fundraising experience
  • Excellent communication & PR skills
  • To implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
  • With the President, enable the Board to fulfill its governance function.
  • To give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.
  • Board Administration and Support - Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, assist in selection and evaluation of Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board's evaluation of Executive Director
  • Program and Service Delivery - Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs and services, looks to the future for change opportunities
  • Financial, Risk and Facilities Management - With support from Board Treasurer recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to the current Executive Director's contract agreement
  • Human Resource Management - Effectively manages the human resources of the organization, supports motivation of employees in organization programs and operations
  • Community and Public Relations - Assures the organization and its mission, programs and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
  • Fundraising - Oversees fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation
