Senior Maintenance Planner
 
The Griffin Groupe is searching for a Senior Maintenance Planner for a premier client in the chemical manufacturing industry. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for planning of maintenance, capital and year-round turnaround activities
  • Assure consistent quality of work planning packages through setting of standards, auditing and holding accountability to those standards
  • Assure consistent and effective use of planning tools, e.g. SAP, Meridium, etc.
  • Provide training, mentoring and coaching for the Planning group
  • Assure site planning and scheduling processes follow the criteria as established by our client’s Maintenance Excellence
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance execution group on an as needed basis based on Subject Matter Expertise related to plant equipment and systems
  • Provide project management support as needed for critical repairs and/or special activities
  • Responsible for the safe and proper management and handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with plant requirements.
  • Participate in all aspects of our client’s Operating Systems
  • Champion of MOMWP Planning Principles
 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of planning and scheduling for day to day, capital and Turnaround Planning in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Experience with CMMS - SAP preferable, Tabware, Maximo, etc. acceptable
  • Knowledge of the Maintenance Excellence Principles
 
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and requirements in a hazardous chemical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop robust solutions
  • Ability to lead and influence others to the highest level of performance as a team and individual
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions in an industrial environment.
